Your Gateway to Applied Pyrography.......
Free Newsletter, Free Member Forum, and Free Member's Photo Gallery.
Many of you are already aware of the Applied Pyrography Newsletter http://appliedpyrography.southwestwoodcrafts.com. This Forum and Gallery is intended to be an extension of it, as well as a vehicle for all aspects of pyrography. Generally anything related to pyrography is acceptable. However, emphasis will be on the newsletter, business aspects of pyrography, and the applied use of pyrography in creating utilitarian and marketable items.

Many future articles will only be available from the forum and will not appear in the newsletter. So you must be signed up as a member here to read them.

Click on a bar in the navigation panel to the upper left, to go to the desired area; newsletter, forum, members photo gallery. When you get to the forum or gallery you will need to register to get in. One password and user name is good for both. Once you get the approval, after signing up, then you can access all aspects of the Applied Pyrography forum and gallery. NOTE: You must be a registered user and signed in to see any large images. This prevents stealing of images and hot linking.

The selection criteria is not very strict, although there are a few things that should be noted. Email addresses must be a regular address. No Hotmail, Yahoo, Netscape, etc., unless I know you from another forum or source. The reasons are for security and to maintain a professional site. AOL is creating a lot of problems for webmasters and I may ban them in the future. So if you have an alternative email address from AOL you might want to use that when you sign up.

The newsletter, forum, and gallery are free and done on a volunteer basis. So any tasks that become a problem will be eliminated, such as the email addresses above. It is a shame that action has to be taken, but there are some "oddballs" on the web, as we also see in society. I don't have the authority to arrest and execute them, so we are left with restrictions to eliminate most of them from here.

The forum and gallery can only be accessed by members in order to eliminate theft of images and content. So please use a secure password and protect it. Also a nice feature of the Gallery is that you can send ecards using your album pictures as the main theme. Please don't abuse it though.

So with a few restrictions, the forum and gallery should be a great source of information and help for the members. The intent is to make it user friendly as well as resourceful. Any thoughts or ideas are appreciated and you can either post them or email them to me at To see instructions for the Gallery, click here.

So go register, post, and join!!! (Click here)

If you have an article, recipe, tip or tutorial to submit to the newsletter please email me. You will be given credit for it and your site/banner will be featured in the your piece. We are always looking for great input as we have had in the past!!

Starting in this next issue we will be featuring a "site sponsor" banner on the front page of the newsletter and here. It will give you exposure as well as helping your page rankings by providing a link. A few lines of text can also be included with the banner to help your promotion. Also your banner, or text link, will appear on the links page of some of my other sites for a month:

http://medievalwares.southwestwoodcrafts.com,
