PYROGRAPHY |

Pyrography is the art of burning designs onto wood, paper, leather, bone, and even cave walls. Sometimes called Poker Art or Poker Work. Modern pyrography art is mostly done with electric woodburing pens. Unlike many other arts, a competent Applied Pyrographer is a composite of many skills including woodcraft, wood finishing, drawing/artist, designer, graphics artist, computer graphics expertise, woodcarver, photographer, researcher and pyrography . I find that my varied skills, as mentioned above, put me in a unique position of being able to offer you a broad range of custom quality products from the medieval crests of the past, to the current Southwest. Applied Pyrography brings the best of all crafts to make products that have broad appeal. No matter how basic or complex the products are, you can be assured that I offer the highest quality of every skill required in the process to produce it. Email your ideas for a burning and I will give you a quote. Outside art at its best. Below are some examples of woodburned (pyrography) items that I have done, including Medieval shields/crests, clocks, belt buckles, spoons, plaques, Southwest images, walking sticks, etc. Some are elegant in their simplicity, and others are to be appreciated for being more complex. Take a look at them and let me know what ideas for your project come to mind. The possibilities for a great and interesting pyrography art project are endless. I can research images from a family coat of arms to that "special" image you are looking for. As always, free layout and design for any project. CLICK ON ANY IMAGE BELOW TO GET A LARGER IMAGE
